Upstate SC Buyers (“we,” “us”) buys land in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Cherokee counties. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or request a cash offer, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you submit the offer form, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- County, property address or parcel details, acreage, and notes you choose to share
- Technical details such as the page you submitted from, date and time, and any advertising tags in the URL (for example utm_source)
If we call you back from an (864) number, we collect the information you give us on that call.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- Review the land and send or discuss a cash offer
- Call, text, or email you about that request
- Close a purchase if we both agree to move forward
- Improve the website and understand which ads, if any, sent you here
We do not sell your information to data brokers. We do not use it to market unrelated products.
Who we share it with
We may share information with:
- Service providers who host the site, send email or text messages, or store form submissions, only as needed to operate the business
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram ads), as described under Cookies and advertising
- Google, for the “I’m not a robot” check on the offer form
- A South Carolina real estate attorney, title company, or similar closing professional if a deal moves forward
- Authorities if the law requires it
Calls, texts, and email
By submitting the form, you agree we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your land. Callbacks come from an (864) number. That consent is not a condition of any sale. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP to a text or telling us on a call. We only place solicitation calls between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Cookies and advertising
The site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure ads, page visits, and cash-offer form submissions. Meta may also use automatic advanced matching. That means information you type on the site, such as your name, email, phone number, and location from an address (city, state, ZIP, and country), can be hashed and sent to Meta so it can match the visit to a Facebook or Instagram account, measure conversions, and show our ads to people like you. We do not collect date of birth or gender on this site. You can block cookies in your browser or use Meta’s ad settings to limit this.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and deal records as long as we need them to respond to you, complete a purchase, or meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or archive them in the ordinary course of business.
